The Centre

Palpung Changchub Dargyeling is a Karma Kagyu Tibetan Buddhist meditation centre under the spiritual guidance of His Eminence 12th Kenting Tai Situpa. The Karma kagyu lineage is known as the lineage of practice and oral transmission and it is famous for its many realised yogis and masters. The lineage has remained unbroken since the time of Buddha. The spiritual head of th elineage is His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje.

On establishing The Centre Situ Rinpoche stated his aspiration that its focus be to preserve the unbroken pure lineage of Buddha Dharma and to serve humanity and every sentient being, bringing harmony and peace in this world. Towards that aim The Centre holds regular courses, retreats and events as well as group practices on auspicious days and hosts visits of Buddhist Masters.

Our resident teacher Choje Lama Rabsang was appointed as Spiritual Director of The Centre in 2004 by Situ Rinpoche at the request of his British Buddhist students.
